Two people in a stolen pickup led a Shasta County sheriff's deputy on a brief chase through southeast Redding Wednesday. The chase ended with the truck crashing, the driver running away and the woman passenger being arrested, said Sgt. Michael Peery of the Shasta County sheriff's office.
