These days anyone with a video camera, a rudimentary editing program and access to YouTube can make a political ad. Some I've seen are good (even brilliant), some mean-spirited and unfair, and some just plain weird. Haven't made up my mind about this one.

Just a year and a half into his tenure as Redding Police Chief, Peter Hansen has announced he's stepping down.
