Forecasters have issued a winter weather watch for the Redding area today, warning of possible frost, rain and snow.
The high today is expected to reach 46 degrees, and the National Weather Service reports frost is likely before 11 a.m.
Prepare for a drop to 33 degrees at night and a chance for sprinkles or snow.

For years I have observed signal light operations in Redding. I have seen a great deal of mismanagement in this area. This results in excessive fuel consumption, pollution, wasted time and frustration.
